"The amenities all appeared to be as described. However, the pool had sand bags covering lots of damaged spots and needed cleaning. The home overall needed a more thorough cleaning. There were food items left from someone’s grilling mishaps, sticky floors and doorknobs, as well as lots of dust and dirt. Laundry was left in the dryer still damp. Items from what appeared to be a party were left in random places all through the house. The host was less than responsive for our stay. We attempted multiple times to contact her for a few reasons, one of them being trying to access the property at check in time, and she did not respond until we contacted VRBO customer service. We didn’t even receive initial checkin instructions only check out. Cleanliness was a real concern, the host was unresponsive, and even gave warnings about parties before we even checked in, stating our group had been flagged by VRBO. We’ve never had issues at any other rental or been told that. She stated she could not produce the flagged messages and we haven’t really spoken since. The hospitality could really be improved. Hoping for a better VRBO experience in the future with a different property and host!"

"Everything was very clean and accessible, and the host answered very promptly and was very kind! I had a great time here!"

"The air conditioning does not work properly. Manager states he will work on fixing that. The furniture needs updating as it’s falling apart and hazard to someone getting hurt. The kitchen table top is not attached. The counters have tape all over them. The manager is very communicative. The neighbors had a party most of the night and kept us awake all night when we had to be up at 4:00. It’s a very busy loud neighborhood. Not in the best area either. "

"Pros: Inside of home is very clean and pictures are accurate. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The house is very close to the Fort. Also close to a walmart.Cons: The picture of the outside of the house and surroundings are not accurate. We pulled into the neighborhood that was really run down with tons of trash/broken in the yards surrounding the house. Upon first arriving, I did not believe we were in a safe neighborhood. We ultimately had no safety issues and it was a quiet neighborhood. The owner sent a message before arrival indicating that the automatic lock only worked a certain way when closing the door. We tried over and over to get the lock to work and never could. It's the only way to pick the front door when you leave. We ended up having to lock from the inside and head out the back door and lock. It was very frustrating. The first morning we were there, an animal had nested in the dryer vent. I sent a message to the owner and got no response. All in all, I will say this is an ok place to stay of visiting family at the fort. I would not stay at this property again. "
