"The property is quite dated, but clean and comfortable. The televisions do not have access to anything but TV channels and pay-per-view movies (no Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc.) and no means to connect personal devices to TVs. Breakfast is extremely basic - just scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes - and not worth the $15 per person charged."

"The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spotless with beautiful tile work which you will appreciate. Just an all around amazing experience for me while I stayed at KEX. The hotel staff were amazing and always helpful, and made you feel like your were a friend instead of a guest. An all around great hotel you should try next time you’re in Portland. "

"The location is ideal if you are attending an event at the convention center. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn’t work. Our room was noisy due to street noise and was out dated. Also, the hallway outside our room had broken ceiling tiles and was rundown."
