The hotel sits right between the two main streets and a quiet night’s was not really possible. "I would not get a balcony. There were too many bugs from the small beach below so you couldn't sit outside on the balcony because of the bugs and the screen door was off it's track so you couldn't close it. So if you like to listen to the waves you couldn't with all of the bugs."

"This motel in one of the few cities located within the Olympia National Park was clean, quiet and decent for a single night stay. The surrounding town itself is very quiet with only 1 restaurant open till 8pm. The motel does not provide breakfast or coffee/hot water, but there is a coffee kettle provided in the room, along with a microwave and small refrigerator."

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom kitchen room. The kitchen did not have dish soap and sponge to wash the dishes (it did have a dishwasher and soap for that) nor a drying rack. The space was great for 3 adults. It was convenient to our outdoor activities in Olympic National Park."

"We loved the architecture of the historic lodge and its beautiful setting on the Lake. The huge public room with fireplace and leather club chairs was charming and cozy to hang out in, especially at night or a rainy day. Staff very friendly and eager to please The restaurant had quite good food and nice ambiance, though a bit expensive. Great trails both short and long, to explore the forest. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the grounds and lake, but it was quite ordinary in terms...

"Tiny room, paper thin wall, no breakfast and not many food places, high rates probably all hotels in town are owned by the same guy. Better avoid Forks as high hotel rates and lack of food choices."
