The hotel is a beautiful historic property set in a beautiful location. It was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. What lessened the experience for me were the additional fees. In particular, $60 per day for parking, on top of the resort fee ($60 per day) and expensive nightly room rate. Totally ridiculous, in my opinion.
Their website touts unlimited tennis court access as one of the perks covered by the resort fee, and this is why we stayed at the Inn, but then they tried to charge me $50 (and then $75) an hour for any use of courts for more than hour (in other words, only 1 hour was covered by the resort fee). They did agree not to implement the charge for the courts after I pointed out the inconsistency with what their website promises but still....
