"This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat. "Very reasonable cost provided a comfortable stay with a feel of Germany of many decades ago, but with modern conveniences. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening meal we enjoyed there was even better."

"The room was a great size and very clean! I don’t understand the lack of air conditioning as it was pretty warm when we arrived. When the temperature cooled at night the room temps dropped with the doors (to the balcony) open. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner! Downside: I’m not positive I’ve slept on a less comfortable bed in a very long time. It was stiff and lumpy. It’s a cool location for the views of Triberg.
