The only good thing about the property was the location. The room was clean, but very uncomfortable with low beds, no remote for the TV , a broken chair, and the slow stream of shower water was far too hot. There were none of the luxuries advertised, nor was the basement set up to eat/drink as advertised. Common areas were not clean or well maintained. The owners are clearly trying to sell the property.
The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay
Booking a room was misleading because the picture of the room wasn’t the room we were put in , wasn’t told we could order a cooked breakfast, wasn’t told that they had a smoking area, overall the room was very clean , the bed and bedding was spotless, we had tea , coffee and biscuits in room , bathroom was spotless which was very appreciated

Lovely place
Clean and a grate location
The English breakfast was very good
Really different and quirky place, very friendly owners and nice rooms, the breakfast was excellent lots of unusual choices
Overall a great little place to stay
The owner is warm, welcoming and delightful to talk with. She really made our stay. The rooms are fun - each with its own theme. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even though it faced the main road. The location is great - easy to walk or take a bus to all places of interest.
Ideally placed, friendly and well ran hotel/inn. Contact was great from the start and the lady we dealt with was very helpful.
I had enquired about early check-in, I had a call to advise this might not be possibly due to cleaning the room between the last guest and us but they would try to. We arrived early and the room was ready, which was a great help as we were going out for the rest of the day and not planning on returning until late evening.
The room themes are brilliant, and the manager even showed us 2 of the other themed rooms so we knew in future if we stayed again to request those named rooms.
The bed was super comfy too!
Would 100% stay here again in future when we visit Nottingham!
The only thing I didn’t know until the day off travelling up was that parking is £10 for a space at the back of the hotel. BUT it is a secure/gated car park, and that price is much cheaper than the other car parks local to the hotel.
Had a lovely stay, staff were really laid back and super accommodating. We stayed in Casablanca which had lovely decor, ambience and was very clean, it's so nice to stay somewhere that has character! We stayed over the weekend and even though it's on a main road, the evenings were really quiet. We called beforehand and were able to check in early and leave our bags in a safe place as we were attending a festival. When we returned in the evening they gave us our keys and had already moved our things in to our room for us. They also allowed us to keep our cold drinks in the fridge downstairs, where there is a kitchen to help yourself to drinks and breakfast in the mornings or use the microwave. There is a smoking area out the back that backs onto the secure gated car park. We found the beds to be really clean and comfortable. The only downsides was the shower temperature was hard to control so it stayed very hot and the bathroom had a couple of spots that needed a deeper clean, just for those who are neat freaks. It's located in a great spot for shopping and eating, with the main shops and mall a few minutes walk down the hill, and a few minutes drive in the opposite way takes you to a street full of charity shops and restaurants. There is a great pizza shop opposite the hotel which is open till the early hours. We were really happy with our stay and special thanks to Jo for being so kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again :) xxx
This place was such a good find! We were have a weekend away with friends, stayed here for 3 nights and LOVED it. The owners were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Our room was cleaned while we were there. The location is great for Nottingham city centre. Strongly recommend.
The owners are very friendly and inviting! Had a wonderful stay here and the rooms are really cool with a great attention to detail and care put into them! Well worth a visit for an alternative hotel experience.
Interesting place. Each room is named and themed after a city. We stayed in Paris and the room was. In fact decked out with a Parisian feel. Location was also good. Very central.
The owners were very friendly. We stayed in the London room and I would definitely stay here again. Great location into the centre of Nottingham. Overall great stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Rooms have names not numbers and our room was called Tokyo. The room theme was Japanese and very nice, spotlessly clean as well, I saw other room names, including Paria, Vienna and Casablanca but can only imagine their decor, bur imagine they would be good fum. The only disadvantage for me personally was the numer of stairs to the bedroom and the low height of the Japanese style bed
Welcoming owners, and quirky rooms. Great location for strolling into the city centre, and Nottingham Playhouse. Pre booked on site parking was well worth an additional £10 per night. Brilliant international breakfast menu offered.
We stayed in the Paris room, and even though the decor is a tad over the top, the room was comfy, big and offered everything we needed. The owner/manager was very helpful and nice to talk to. We paid $10 to park in the inn parking lot.
We stayed in the Tokyo room and it was lovely, we opted to have breakfast the next morning and glad we did it was so good and the dining room is beautiful.
Had a lovely chat with the host just as we were leaving loved Bertie the dog.
