"Very disappointing stay – major issue with trains In hindsight, I wish I had paid more attention to previous reviews before booking. The biggest issue by far is the railway line immediately next to the lodges. Trains pass extremely frequently, including late into the night and again early in the morning. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna"
