"We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return."

"We loved the entire experience staying at this beautiful property nestled into Watch Hill. The property is very well appointed, very thoughtful and detailed decor, and maximizes use of every square inch of the home. The kitchen has everything you need to entertain you and your guests in style!Check in was a breeze and Kevin is a great communicator. 2 minute walk and you are on the beach. less than ten minute walk into town with all the shops and great coffee and match lattes at Sift. Visiting Ocean House (right next door) for cocktails and dinner and an easy walk back to the house was also a highlight of our stay.Five stars all the way and we look forward to returning next time!"

"Beautiful home and property, We did a family vacation for a week in August 2026. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We had everything we needed in the home for 6 adults and 3 young children. There was plenty to do in the area for families. The highlight was the beaches and the Aquarium. I would definitely book again."

"This is an amazing property! Spacious and bright with views of the water from almost every room. Spacious patio with lots of furniture and an upper deck overlooks the lovely grounds and the expanse of water. You can walk to the dock, visit the beach and enjoy so many amenities, including the shower that one of our family members described as "life changing". In addition the kitchen offers 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, a gas cooktop--all high end appliances. There's much more, including an extremely helpful and responsive host. We spent a week there with family and friends, and we were sorry to leave."
