"Fabulous tranquil setting with forest ponies right outside the door. Our host was really helpful and quick to respond. The house was really comfortable, well equipped and the equipment / towels were really high quality. The nearby Oak pub did us proud for food and drink, and there were abundant forest walks in every direction. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Friendly staff, prompt check-in. Room was very spacious, much bigger than expected. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy room, bathroom, with separate bath and shower with toiletries available. Restaurant was lovely, good choice of food and drink and reasonably priced. WiFi was available throughout the property and worked well. Plenty of parking available. Short walk in to the town and easy access to other towns and attractions in the area. Bar staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel. "Was informed i needed to book breakfast for a family of four to ensure they had enough and went down at 945 to find out they had run out of things we wanted, so had to check out with breakfast and find somewhere else. Not ideal."
