"Wunderbare Unterkunft in toller Lage. Blick auf die Weinberge, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß an der Mosel. Die Wohnung ist perfekt für vier Personen, die Betten sehr bequem und die zwei Badezimmer sind top. Die Sauna in einem der Bäder haben wir bei 30 Grad /- nicht genutzt ;) Alles ist wunderbar sauber, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Auf dem großzügigen Balkon sorgt eine Markise für Schatten. Der Schwenkgrill im Garten wurde mehrfach genutzt. Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung wie z.B. Trier, von Trittenheim fährt ein paarmal in der Woche ein Schiff nach Bernkastel-Kues. Das Panoramabad in Leiwen ist sehr gut und nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto den Berg hinauf. Tolle Lage.Bäcker, Metzger und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind vor Ort. Ca. 10 Minuten weiter mit dem Auto ein großer Edeka u.a. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Auch der Kontakt vor Ort war sehr nett und sympathisch. Der Wein der Gastgeber ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank!"

"English Berghotel Kristall feels quietly restorative from the moment you arrive, surrounded by peaceful countryside and open views. The interior is warm and thoughtfully designed, with soft lighting, cozy seating, and inviting spaces to relax. Large windows bring in natural light and enhance the calm atmosphere. Meals are simple and satisfying in a relaxed bistro style. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh options. A wonderful touch is the 24 hour trust station with snacks, drinks, and complimentary water, which makes the stay feel effortless. Step outside to gentle walking paths and open sky that invite you to slow down and reconnect with nature. A simple, beautiful escape. Deutsch Das Berghotel Kristall wirkt vom ersten Moment an beruhigend, eingebettet in eine ruhige Landschaft mit weitem Blick. Die Einrichtung ist warm und durchdacht, mit sanftem Licht, gemütlichen Sitzbereichen und einladenden Rückzugsorten. Große Fenster lassen viel Tageslicht herein und verstärken die entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Mahlzeiten sind einfach und gut, im Bistro-Stil serviert. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und bietet eine große Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Besonders angenehm ist die 24-Stunden-Vertrauensstation mit Snacks, Getränken und kostenlosem Wasser. Draußen laden ruhige Wege und die Natur dazu ein, langsamer zu werden. Eine einfache, schöne Auszeit."

"We stayed here Aug 2025 to visit our cousins who live in the area. We booked through Expedia so we did not expect the best room (it seems like typically we get better rooms when booking through the hotel directly but a better rate booking through Expedia). Our room was on the first floor but was slightly above ground level. There is no AC and there were no fans. But there was a cute balcony with two seats. The room was clean. We checked-in quickly and were not offered any maps or instructions about the hotel (there is a pool but we were not told where it was although we also didn't have time to use it anyway). The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk around the lake (the Bostalsee) and drive to our cousins' houses. They do offer a few amenities although we were not told about these amenities when we checked -in (we were only told that the breakfast was $29 Euros PP if we wanted to add it.). Parking was free and easy, checkout was quick and easy and a little friendlier than check-in. We felt like this is mostly a local German vacation hotel and not as welcoming to non-German travelers. "
