Nice 5 night stay at the Saxton Lodge. Room was clean, aircondioning worked well, good parking. Nice towels. There is a nice restaurant onsite which is open certain days and hours. Unfortunately there is no microwave or crockery or cutlery in the room. There is glasses, kettle/jug, cofee cups and spoons. There is a communal kitchen which is open until 8pm where you can obtain crockery and cutlery and bring up to your room.

Clean comfortable room. Shared kitchen facilities but well appointed with plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment. Rooms on the main road side can be noisy once the traffic starts building up in the morning

I have never stayed anywhere as welcoming or comfortable. The owners went above and beyond and could not have been more hospitable. The beds were super comfy and the location was great for getting to and from the airport, as well as buses to the Abel Tasman track. We seldom write reviews, but we are so grateful and will definitely stay again next time we’re in Nelson.
