What a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful location. Great breakfast and lovely room. Staff went above and beyond to help us. Loved that they had e-bikes we could use - amazing.
The perfect Napa couple’s stay. Roomy, comfortable, excellent bed and shower, fabulous natural light during the day, cool porch off the bedroom and less than 10 minutes to Napa, Yountville and world class wineries.
Perfection
We had a lovely stay at the Setting Inn, and would absolutely stay here again. Quiet, cozy and well-located, this is a great spot to stay for wine tastings or easy access to downtown, just a short Uber ride away. The staff was lovely as well. Looking forward to coming back!
This is the perfect hotel for a quiet, romantic weekend. We stayed 2 nights (I’ve stayed once before and loved it) and it was perfect. If you want a quintessential “Napa” experience, this is it- the morning pastries, the bikes to use, the welcoming staff. We will be back for a third time. My favorite Napa hotel, when I’m not looking for a pool or spa experience- perfect for a winter weekend!
Amazing quaint little Inn. Exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beads and the bouchon bakery rolls in the morning are amazing. It feels like home instead of a hotel room. We will be back
Third time staying at this wonderful place and it never disappoints. Simply charming! If you can’t decide between a cozy B’n’B or a boutique, luxurious hotel - this is a place for you.
Everything about my stay was so charming. The staff genuinely hopes to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was perfect and full of details that made it unique. We really enjoyed that they lend you e-bikes so you can take a ride with amazing views. Last but not least, the breakfast from Bouchon is the cherry on top! 10/10.
Adorable B and B outside of Napa. Beds were comfortable and overall everything perfect. Only suggestion is the breakfast is pastries every day. After 3 days I couldn't stand the thought of another buttery breakfast. Adding even yogurt or boiled egg as a "write in" option would be perfect.
Amazing experience! The details were amazing- well appointed rooms, Bichon Bakery pastries in the morning and beautiful outdoor spaces. Very intimate setting for a home base to all that Napa Valley has to offer. Customer service was beyond excellent and felt personal. I would highly recommend.
fantastic location between Napa and Yountville. The rooms are nicely appointed, comfortable and modern. Love the heated floors in the bathroom. The E-bikes are a great bonus. Breakfast delivered each morning via an old milk carton box: of OJ, fruit and pastries from Bouchon. Would've liked having a glass of wine to try when upon arrival, as they offer tastings as well as buying the bottles -
We stayed for a family girl's weekend in the cottage. It was perfect! Candace welcomed us when we arrived and was lovely. She was very hospitable answering all our questions and showing us the property. The rooms were large and luxurious with private patios. Both bathrooms were spacious, stocked with quality toiletries and soft towels, and had heated floors. The living space was just what we needed for quality time together. The public spaces are great options as well, especially the super cute barn. It is stocked with snacks, board games, and lawn games and has plenty of space for gathering. The included breakfast was delicious pastries from Bouchon Bakery, fruit and juice. We did not have time for them, but there are two bikes available for those interested in exploring the area. For us the location was convenient being 5-10 minutes from dining and vineyards in Yountville and 15 from downtown Napa. Lastly, the 2021 Oakville is a must.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Setting Inn. Our accommodations were just perfect for our romantic getaway to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The staff there were very friendly, responsive and made us feel cared for. The towels were plush and the room was set up with the extra towels and pillows that I had requested ahead of time. What we will remember most of all is the complimentary morning breakfast tray of pastries from a famous local bakery, fresh fruit, OJ and daily flowers presented in a charming wooden box, left outside our door every morning. It was such a special way to leisurely enjoy our mornings, looking outside our deck, with a cup of coffee from the in-room Nespresso machine. Absolute perfection! If I had anything to critique, it would be that the material of their robes are too thin/flimsy for my taste. If they had plush robes similar to their towels, that would have been the cherry on top of an already next to perfect weekend. On our next stay, we will definitely check out their electric bikes as we didn't get the chance as it was raining.

The property is newly furnished, with excellent bed, bath supplies, and coffee bar in the room. The photos on expedia are correct.
There is NO pool / gym. Just an exercise bike in a fancy shed. Some board games in the larger room in the barn.
It is set in the front of a vineyard off CA 29. However, there is traffic noise, despite the excellent insulation, at all times of day, esp if any emergency / police vehicles are on road. For example: about 5 police cars went by at 5 am, and woke us up. I get that there is some noise expected but this is freeway noise!!
The inn does not have ANY restaurants in walkable distance. As I was looking for peace and quiet, this is not a dealbreaker in my opinion, but may be a significant issue if traveling with kids or hungry teens.
The inn does provide a box from Bouchon bakery as breakfast in the morning with orange juice, fresh berries and pastries. Very nice but not a full or hot meal.
Given the lack of restaurants and shops, the noise and proximity to freeway negated the peace.
Also, you cannot walk into the neighboring vineyards - there are deep ditches and fences.
So 5 stars for room, cleanliness and staff.
However, if I knew what I know now, I would have stayed at another facility esp given lack of amenities, noise, and price. I booked through expedia as this was a last minute deal - nonrefundable. However, prices keep changing, and the same room was $50 cheaper by the time I checked in. Buyer be wary.
