"My wife tried to pay through what she thought was your official website but it was an American site pretending to be the GoTo site. Luckily she had paid cancellation rights and was able to get her money back, including the American agency fee of about £80, and I booked it through my card directly with your website. This was very irritating, being an excessive agency fee which was somewhat difficult to cancel , and the fee was not obvious to my wife. Otherwise the hotel was fine."

"Hotel has seen better days. However the view is stunning. Main issues were in the bedroom. Most uncomfortable bed ever, thing was even a four poster but with a terrible mattress. Scrap the four poster and just put a decent bed in! Room was very basic, upgraded to a executive or whatever it was, but apart from the view there was nothing special about it. No heating or cooling controls either. But the view was amazing. You could hear absolutely everything happening around you. The floor boards in the room upstairs would literally wake you. If someone moved upstairs, you knew about it. If someone walked by in the corridor, the bed would move... View was great though! Car parking was good enough, shame there wasn't much of an outdoor space to enjoy a drink near the bar. Attempted to talk with someone on checkout to mention our feedback for the two nights, waited ten minutes, dialed the number on the phone - and no-one appeared. Wedding party last night, we enjoyed their DJ from the uncomfortable bed. Congratulations to the newly weds. "

"Breakfast menu was freshly cooked with a small but varied buffet which included yogurt fresh fruit cereals toast and pastries. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean with good storage and a good size fridge. Comfy bed too. Only minor feedback was that hairdryer was not great and needed replacing "

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating elsewhere. Would I stay here again? YES. It's an amazing hotel, I just wouldn't eat there."
