"The rooms are okay, it's an old building, no elevator, no cleaning between days. The area was the real problem, so many homeless, you won't feel comfortable going out after dark."

"Spacious accommodations and gracious host. We arrived earlier than anticipated and host allowed us to enter early. The place was tidy, and we were provided with welcome coffee and cookies. A/C was great in the bedrooms but none dedicated to Living/Dining area which was a bit warmer. It suited our needs nicely. Two drawbacks were things outside of host control - noisy birds/frogs/wildlife and the neighborhood was a bit sketch (but we did not feel unsafe). Highly recommend."

"The Queen’s Loft was a quaint little place that offered way more than we expected. Conveniently located in downtown Hilo close proximity to shops, restaurants, laundromat and grocery store. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient place to crash while visiting the island hotspots."

"The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, beds were very comfortable. The a/c in the bedrooms worked fine. We walked to the farmer’s market and strolled a bit through town. "

"check in was very easy, but while the listing says the location has laundry, it did not say that we had to pay for laundry and that it isn't in the unit. there is also only a small air conditioner that doesn't cover the entire unit. plenty of towels and comfortable beds though and they provided water and snacks.
