"Being on the 3rd floor, I could easily hear people in the streets talking in the middle of the night. So my first night was a little bit uneasy at it was Saturday night and there were many people walking and speaking loudly. Even the curtains closed didn't improve my sleep. I'm wondering if people on the same floor who were staying on the harbour side were kept awaked by people in the streets after 23:00....."

"Convenient location Decor absent and few amenities . Some noise ( loud music) for a while. Not a memorable stay."

"It was unfortunate that the room that was given to us had deficiencies. The small refrigerator was not working and the wash sink was not draining properly, it literally took 5 minutes to drain. I went down to the lobby to inform them about these. Housekeeping lady came in to check but didn’t say anything on how to resolve the issues. After an hour I went back to follow up but they couldn’t do anything to fix it. We wanted to check out and go to another Hotel but time was not on our side, so we stayed on. Morning after, I spoke to Front Desk (Tiril), she wasn’t aware of the issues, as nothing was communicated. She apologized for the inconvenience and gave us an upgraded room. It is disappointing that a room was given to a guest having with known issues. Poor communication between departments and to the GM."

"The room was very clean and well-equipped and had a pretty view of the harbor. It was also very well located. In fact, our walking tour of Bergen began less than a thirty second walk from our hotel. We booked a superior room to accommodate three of us as our daughter was traveling with us. Unfortunately, when her pull out bed was prepared for sleeping, we were left with very little room to move about. Also, the bathtub shower (although very clean) is not our favorite as it is hard to confine the water to just the bathtub area without it spilling over. The bathroom itself was much smaller than in other Thon hotels we’ve stayed in. The breakfast buffet was just as good as others we’ve had however."

"Nice spacious room and bathroom, much larger than other rooms of the same price I’ve stayed in, including two chairs and a small table, business desk and chair, and a small footstool at the end of the bed is nice when putting on shoes, etc. The breakfast was excellent. It’s also in a part of town that’s close to Bryggen, restaurants, shopping, and ferries.The ONLY downside is it’s a bit of a maze to find your room… elevator up, walk the hall, turn left up a couple more stairs, walk the hall… Still, I would definitely stay here again. It was the nicest hotel of the entire tour. "
