"Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay. "

"Clean hotel, unfortunately the dining area is far too small when the hotel is busy. Although a dog friendly hotel, you are asked to sit in a specific area and if it's busy, you may have to wait an hour or so, or take breakfast in your room, despite tables being available and the food area being separate from the seating area. Overall not too bad price wise, by the time you add on parking and the pet. We stayed for 4 nights in the May holidays, worked out around £100/night. Staff were friendly...

"Comfortable base for exploring the southwest corner of the UK. Had requested a high floor in my reservation but was placed below the lobby overlooking what seemed like the personnel parking lot, which was a bit of a bummer. It’s the small things one does that can make an average impression a great one, and make one return. Hotel was definitely not full. Perhaps I got dinged for not making my reservation through their website or perhaps the lower priced rooms are just simply downstairs.."
