"We had such a lovely stay at Paul’s place over the new year period. The space was perfectly set up for two couples. We cooked food from the local farm shop and read loads of books while listening to the wind up radio! Would happily stay again "

"Julian and Caroline's hide away has excellent views and great walks abound. We booked our stay early December and we were met by Julian upon arrival, he showed us around the 1 bedroom property built above the garage area. Luckily for us Julian had anticipated our arrival at 5pm and so had the heating on which made for a comfortable stay, also there was a welcome pack of tea milk and coffee to hand! Oh by the way a big shout out for the comfortable bed!! The roads leading to and from the property are a little bumpy, as they are well worn! Overall we had a great three night stay the property which is well located to all the local attractions. Regards"

"Interior walls were very thin and had layer of mould growing on the inside, including on bedroom walls, that had clearly been painted over many times in different areas of the cabin but had not been dealt with properly. Cabin smelled of bleach, I assume due to attempted cleaning. Cancelled immediately upon entering and requested a refund."

"I've stayed here multiple times and it is a gem. Located close to the Bovington Tank Museum it has cozy rooms and a wonderful pub with a solid menu, including being extremely good for people with food allergies. I have celiac disease and having several gluten free options (e.g., starters, entres, deserts, beer, etc) at a small hotel is unexpected. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful and even put together a gluten free tradiitoonal breakfast to go since my train left before they opened breakfast."

"Two hutches in a bit of forest. Mixed up on arrival ended up in the wrong one as ours was taken by someone else the day before. No hot water on the first night, luckily fixed around midday next day. Overall everything you need for a short stay. Relatively close to the coast. We had a nice stay with a few bumps."
