"Due to street work, water unexpectedly wasn’t available on the top floors. The staff handled it very well, keeping guests informed and offering a full refund to guests choosing not to stay. "Complimentary shuttle service is welcomed to and from the airport. The drivers are courteous. However, you need to call and request a pickup. Plan on waiting 20 minutes unless by chance they are already there. My room was clean and quiet. A couple of helpful tips: Across the street is a terrific large grocery store called Market Basket. It's huge. They have a large selection of prepared foods if you are tired and don't wish to hunt a restaurant up. They have a cafeteria where you line up and tell the employees what you want to take away. They have a nice selection of travel size toiletries and a huge selection of drug store items. There are only 2 restaurants I saw near the hotel: A Mexican restaurant and a 5 Guys Burger place. There is a small expensive convenience area next to the lobby. Of course everything is expensive as it is a convenience area. But, in a pinch you chalk it up as part of your holiday. The only improvement would be the breakfast. It's not up to Hampton Inn standards more like a 2 star budget motel (like Red Roof Inn) They had no fruit today at all, must have run out. I was there early. The day before only apples and oranges. It's not the best but the ladies were nice and seemed to do what was required. Lobby staff were all good."

"Great place to stay, just outside of Salem. 20 minuets. The hotel was well maintained and a pleaser to stay at. Staff was great! We would stay here again. FYI- there is no Free breakfast onsite. Pay breakfast is next door and the restaurant. Since my event started before they opened , I can not review this piece. But there is a Starbucks sharing the same parking lot, so that was convenient."
