Great location, easy to walk to the downtown area for shopping and or eating. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfasts were outstanding and awesome way to start the day.
Immaculously maintained and very quaint.
Breakfast is out of this world. The chef has indeed put a lot of thought into the breakfast presentation, with local flowers.
A great early 19th-century experience.
Walking distance to a few great restaurants, in particular, Trillium and MacCallum.
A very satisfying stay.
Inn has a nice location, room is convenient and pleasant, but the staff is non-existent. We stayed for three days and never saw a sole. They say they deliver breakfast at 9 am, and this is correct and breakfast is nice. But we needed to leave early on our last day and asked (by voice mail recording) if it could be available at 8. No one answered and no breakfast came at 8... or at 9 that morning. No one ever answers the phone - must fear talking with people. Facility is nice but the lack of human contact is very poor.
And, they had the audacity to leave an envelope asking for tips for the staff. For what I'm not sure, cause there was absolutely not service!
Such a lovely spot! Loved the fireplace and the breakfast!

Staff so welcoming friendly and full of knowledge I. Regards to the area. Hiking trails, wineries, massage and dining. We visit each year and it never gets old. The rooms are so comfy, lean and cozy with fireplaces. Leave the window open to hear the o ran waves at night! The breakfast is top notch, all fresh made and local. Highly recommend the experience.
It was a definite step back in time. The location was perfect, right downtown so walking distance. The breakfasts were fantastic and abundant. I very much enjoyed my stay.
The Headlands Inn has an ideal location; close to downtown, the coastal beach area, and fine dining. John welcomed us and helped answer several questions during our stay. The two breakfasts were outstanding, and the cookies put out in the afternoon were delicious. The room was quiet and comfortable. We were quite pleased with our choice of bed and breakfast.
The Headlands Inn is the archetypal Victorian Inn with lacy curtains, sitting parlor, and cottage garden. Plus the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious, so yes I'd stay there again.
