"Clean rooms and hotel, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Free coffee in the lobby all day was great! The breakfast was well stocked. Hotel is very close to the lake Logan marina and beach which was nice. Overall, nice hotel in the hocking hills area."

"Was greeted by Percy, she smiled, talked to us, and helped us find a GREAT mom & pop restaurant. Every time she saw us, she'd smile and ask if everything was okay. The room was very clean, pool area was kept clean as well. The breakfast was very yummy. When checking out, the gentleman greeted us with a smile and made sure everything was okay. Would definitely go back!! To me, customer service is 60% what makes the stay better! They were 90% great!!"

"I didn’t realize there were no bedrooms. The VRBO says two bedrooms, but it is two mattresses in two lofts with one set of steps. Only one of the three of us could climb steps so the place was hard for us. I feel like the description is not clear. However; if there were only two of us I would stay again."

"Absolutely wonderful and peaceful! Relatively close to Columbus, but it feels like it isn't. Very cozy, in a good way. If you have problems with steps, be careful. Otherwise, definitely a gem! I will definitely go back, hopefully soon."
Camping in the Hocking Hills at Altenbrauch Farm

"We used this as a group camp. The campground was great for our needs and I could also see it would be a fun simple place to camp as a family (probably would stay in the one of the lower campsites at the edge of the field with my family). Caleb was great to work with and really helped us by providing a great setting to pull off a great group camp. The solar shower was used by many and they said it was quite refreshing. The services available were as advertised. As long as you know this is primitive camping, then you should not be disappointed coming here."

"The property is exactly as described. Enjoyed my stay on the property and hiking along the trails in Hocking Hills. The cabin was exactly what I needed to relax and get back to nature. I wasn’t crazy about the bathtub but after a day of hiking it was enjoyable to soak in the tub. I would highly recommend staying here.There is a Marathon gas station about 10 minutes away on the corner of 56 and 664. It was very convenient as if offered groceries and snacks, if you forgot anything.There’s a home on 664 that has a great price on firewood.There’s a pizza place next to the Marathon that was good. A little pricey but it’s vacation."
