"The hotel was very basic as expected. On the plus side it was conveniently located for our purpose, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. They offered no breakfast but the bakery next door had a very nice and reasonably priced breakfast
However, there was very little space to move around, no bedside table on one side of the bed (despite there being room for one), nowhere to hang coats or wet towels in the room and no 'no disturb' signs to hang on the door. There was hair in the shower...

"This was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Europe. The hotel was updated, clean, and had a kind and welcoming staff. I really appreciated the uniqueness of the property and the excellent fresh breakfast. We had issues at every other hotel we booked so it was really nice to have such a good experience here after the disastrous week!
If I ever make it back to GroßKarlBach I will be booking again. 💖"
