"This boutique hotel was perfect for our one week stay in Zanzibar. It is small, quaint, and manageable. Although the immediate beach is a fishing location, with boats, and therefore not swimmable, there was plenty to do. We enjoyed a snorkeling excursion to a nearby Island. Beautiful beach a short car ride away. Everything was very convenient. Loved the “no cash” system where we charged everything to the room.

I would not go back to Zanzibar. I would consider staying at Essence hotel if I did decide to revisit, however.
