Check in was the fastest check in I’ve ever experienced! 5 stars for that. Breakfast was 4 stars. Wish it had a little more variety but it was good! Hotel room was not great! Very run down. Looked nothing like the pictures. Walls were dirty. Just not what was expected. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great Location and they have done some work to update the rooms. I felt the bed was too firm but it was clean. The floor and blinds seemed dirty. Breakfast was lacking but the waffles were good. Overall, we got what we paid for and we enjoyed the stay.

Good stay for a quick trip. Property needs some updates, however location made up for it. Staff was friendly, especially the bright cheery cleaning ladies. Extra thank you to them! Please note this is not a beach front. It’s just walkable but there is no view. Aswell breakfast was nutritious and delicious. No complaints.

Quiet traffic, but not other staying in motel (not motel's fault). Room was semi clean, continential breakfast was good. Tip: walk across the street through the other motel to get to the beach.. dont walk to the street to the right then down the path..

The room smelled clean from the moment we opened the door. It was a little small for 2 adults and a toddler, but it’s expected for the bay area. Our room was very warm and the AC was not super cold. They had breakfast but depending on the day, sometimes they would have eggs and other days they didn’t. It was really close to the beach, gas station, Denny's, and even a Walmart. We stayed for 5 nights so it was very affordable.

I have good experience with them. Room is alright and other things are okay but the complementary breakfast is very poor quality. This place is close to beach and nice walking distance from beach 🏖️

Poor Quality

Location was nice, as it was really close to everything and walking distance from the beach. Now on to the important stuff! The room quality was like anything I’ve experienced before. There was mold on the bathroom walls, stains on the bedsheets, fire alarms were covered with painters tape as there was no fire alarm. We also found some men’s underwear behind the bathroom door. This was a trip with my daughter, so no man was traveling with us! Would we recommend staying here??? Absolutely not! Now it makes sense on why there’s no deposit required!

Missing window screen. No blow dryer. Shower curtain rod angle did not allow curtain to completely close. Tub/shower floor slippery. Repairs made, holes left where previous hardware was located. TV in breakfast area had been removed, wires and frame left. Pool empty, dirty garbage bag in bottom, wood left on decking. Only 2 bath towels. Positive: bed comfortable. Room clean.

The area was great and convenient, with a store being close by. I rarely write bad reviews. The room was smaller than expected and dirty. I spoke out about it and was offered a second room that was also dirty and unsanitary; there were stains and hair on the sheets, and the floor wasn't cleaned at all. When I explained this to the hotel lobby, they were upset with me. I had a terrible experience and hope they can resolve this for future customers.

The locking latch on the door was broken and the dead bolt didn't work, we were moved to a different room which seemed better but there were a few little tiny roaches in there. There also seemed to be some remodeling of the common area happening. The beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel or less than a minute drive. The beds were comfortable but we didn't have enough towels, we were unsure how to get more but mom brought an extra from home. Front desk man was helpful. We started our day early so we didn't take advantage of the free breakfast. We're ok with our stay, every place has its challenges, we just needed a place to shower and sleep while visiting Monterey.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I had to leave the property twice to access the internet to complete work that I needed to do because the cable/internet was out. Obviously the TV didn't work either. I understand that was out of the property's control but no effort was made to make it right. Just "I'm sorry, it's not our fault."

Jay was very nice and helpful at our check-in. I give him my highest rating. The room, however, was disappointing. The bathtub area was moldy and old. There was dirt in the corners on the floor, it hadn't been cleaned well. The pillows were SO old, shapeless. At breakfast there was only one type of milk, no herbal tea. Doors didn't close properly, lost of visible rust everywhere, and chipped paint. The only thing I liked about the hotel was that it was walkable to the beach.
