"I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this incredible place truly deserves the spotlight. This stunning, spacious, and romantic home is perched on the cliffs of Portugal’s west coast, just 15 minutes from Sintra. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Alfie and Miguel, who greeted us with the kind of genuine hospitality that made us feel like long-lost family. Alfie prepared an incredible breakfast each morning (included in the stay), and the entire experience felt like a luxurious, five-star retreat with a personal touch. The interior of the home is a thoughtful blend of eclectic Mediterranean charm, mid-century character, and boho elegance. Every corner reflects intentional design—from the curved fireplace and white stucco walls to the marble railings and abundant natural light streaming through expansive windows. The constant sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below added to the dream-like ambiance. As we were traveling as a family, we stayed in the cottage on the property, which offered a lovely private retreat with two bedrooms (one queen and two twins), a cozy living room with a large TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The dining area was tastefully decorated with woven rugs, soft fabric chairs, and subtle green and gold accents. Sitting there each morning, enjoying a beautifully prepared breakfast while gazing out at the ocean below, was truly unforgettable. "

"It was absolutely beautiful! One of a kind- both the rooms and the scenery. The service was outstanding. They are so kind and make a really good breakfast. My only recommendation, contact the B&B directly if possible so they can tell you about checking in after hours. Hotels.com did not inform us of after hour check-in details."

"Good location, close to the beach. Nice beach close by!Clean. Had the basic necessities, no beach towels though. It has potential to be a great vacation place but they need to sort out their check in process and improve their communication and host management. Very poor communication with the host/management company. I asked questions that were not answered before the stay.No check out instructions. Hard to get a hold of them. Check in instructions were confusing and not clear. Needing an app on your phone to open the door that did not work all the time. Didnt tell us that we needed the app/register with the app until day before/day of. We were locked out at one point and we only got in bc another resident let us in. When we called to tell them we couldnt get it, they were not able to help (told us to buzz another resident to let us in). I would encourage them to change this process for future guests as it was stressful and we wasted a lot of time trying to get into the building on multiple occasions. The app instructions were not clear.Took almost 4 weeks to get a refund as we changed our dates from 8 days to 4 days. I spoke to multiple different people with the host company- no one knew what was happening with the refund, said it was happening one day and it didnt, said vbro had to refund us which is not the case.... I had to get VBRO involved multiple times but we finally got our refund. Was Very stressful and frfrustrating to deal with their company. "

"The property far exceeded our expectations. It was such a beautiful and tranquil setting surrounded by bikable landscapes And cafés. The property itself had so many features. You could easily spend a whole week there. my only regret is I wish we had more time. The host was so helpful. She even helped us find a Private chef and a yoga instructor! I hope to be back Sometime soon. "
