I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this incredible place truly deserves the spotlight.
This stunning, spacious, and romantic home is perched on the cliffs of Portugal’s west coast, just 15 minutes from Sintra. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Alfie and Miguel, who greeted us with the kind of genuine hospitality that made us feel like long-lost family.
Alfie prepared an incredible breakfast each morning (included in the stay), and the entire experience felt like a luxurious, five-star retreat with a personal touch.
The interior of the home is a thoughtful blend of eclectic Mediterranean charm, mid-century character, and boho elegance. Every corner reflects intentional design—from the curved fireplace and white stucco walls to the marble railings and abundant natural light streaming through expansive windows. The constant sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below added to the dream-like ambiance.
As we were traveling as a family, we stayed in the cottage on the property, which offered a lovely private retreat with two bedrooms (one queen and two twins), a cozy living room with a large TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette.
The dining area was tastefully decorated with woven rugs, soft fabric chairs, and subtle green and gold accents. Sitting there each morning, enjoying a beautifully prepared breakfast while gazing out at the ocean below, was truly unforgettable.
