"When I come to visit family we always stay here. Nothing fancy. But clean, quiet and well kept up. We appreciate the little extras like a box of tissue or the free water and snacks. Friendly staff and reasonably priced."

"Room was clean. Very basic and minimal towels in rooms. Very few outlets in rooms. Also needs better blinds or curtains as they don’t keep much light out at all. Staff were lovely. Property is very run down and the halls smell like cigarette smoke but rooms didn’t smell. We only got there later and left early so was good for what we needed."

"Room was clear. Overall room condition was 'well worn' but clean bedding and towels. AC worked fine. Park-like grounds that room looked out on. The 'back' of the room was on the parking lot side."

"We had a great stay at Malak bed and breakfast. Hiba is an excellent hostess. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was pristine and very comfortable. We used the pool, too. Highly recommend it!"

Creekside Retreat Treehouse In Cooksmills, 15 minutes from Niagara Falls

"The location was perfect-15 minutes away from the falls and 30 minutes away from Niagara-on-the-lake. The hosts met us when we got there and told us all about the cabin. They provided some snacks, wood for a fire, and even a birthday gift for my husband. We knew about the ladder to the loft bed, but there is very little room up there. If you don't cover the hole in the floor, you could easily fall through as it is right there as soon as you step out of bed. We enjoyed a quiet place to come back to and watching all of the animals. The cabin is new in 2025 and very clean. There are huge ants as you are staying in a tree house. We had some issues with no hot water at times in the shower."

Cottage Beside Crystal Beach - 3BR & BBQ!

"The outside of the cottage was sandy, dusty and full of spiderwebs and goose feathers. The outside had not been cleaned for a while - invest in a blower to maintain the property for your guests. Inside was good and what we expected for the price point - we had to buy a vaccume to keep the place clean of sand as a broom was not enough. The bummer was on the first night, the owners father decided that was an appropriate time to cut the grass and fire a bunch of rocks into my brother-in-law's vehicle that not only chipped the paint but broke the passanger side glass. We were able to tape up with a garbage bag before that night's storm kicked in and we were able to find a place 20 mins away to fix the glass. The owner paid for the glass replacement at the time of writting but it was a pain to deal with on our vacation. Easy access to the beach and lots of gas cannisters for the bbq. The beach was the highlight along with the provided fire pit barrel."
