My daughter joined us several days after our arrival. And they upgraded her room so that she could be across the hall from us. Her shower wasn’t working properly, they offered to move her but, because we wanted to be close by, they comped her a substantial amount to be used at the restaurant & bar. The food at the pool and at Marelle were exceptional! I highly recommend the Sandbourne, Santa Monica.

Great location for the beach and pier and downtown Santa Monica. The beach package of towels, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella was great, we had so much fun playing in the waves. Pool was lovely, only gripe was that the lounge chairs are situated too close the the pool, which meant we got a lot of side eye and tutting when the kids splashed whilst swimming. Room was clean and plenty big enough for a family of 4. Our room overlooked the main street and there was some noise but on the whole it wasn't too bad. The rooms would benefit from hot drink facilities in the room, we don't drink coffee, we had our own tea bags but had no way to make in the room. We didn't eat at the restaurant as our kids are too fussy for the menu that was available but can 100% recommend Dogtown Coffee which is a couple of blocks over. Also didn't use the valet parking due to the cost, but we were able to park at the civic hall which is only a 5min walk and very secure. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay at the Sandbourne! Room was beautiful, great location. Short walk to the beach, towels provided. Quiet and didn't hear noise from hallway or other rooms. Coffee in lobby every morning. Self serve market with essentials. Lovely pool area with plenty of seating. Staff was welcoming and professional. Will return!

Great hotel! So cute, rooms were great and as pictured. Pool area was nice but a little small/needed more lounge chairs. Also the hotel bar in the lobby closed too early. But overall great experience and good location.

Loved the whole vibe. The staff is so easy going and polite and just amazing. So fun to have beach chairs to use and bikes… loved the pool too. Definitely recommend! Room was clean, spacious and airy. For the beach you do have to cross a little street but it’s as close as it gets in California for a hotel that also has a pool!

The breakfast a the restaurant there was great! Never heard of blueberry butter before! And the room was absolutely beautiful, better than the pictures. The partial ocean view is literal, hardly can see it but regardless it was a great room and close to the beach! Incredible
