"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

"This was a very nice place to stay. It was conveniently located. There's a metro stop right there so that can help you get around. The Wi-Fi was a little iffy in the room that we were in, but I don't know that that would be the case everywhere. The staff was helpful. When we needed help with booking tickets and things like that, there was a person acting as a concierge who was able to help. If I was going back I would stay there again."

She was incredibly responsive and helpful even before I checked in, which made me feel genuinely welcomed from the start. Throughout my stay, she consistently assisted me with recommendations, directions, and many thoughtful details that greatly enhanced my experience in Beijing. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality truly made a difference. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Yue Long from the concierge team. He was always extremely patient in assisting me with my delivery orders, whether from Taobao or Meituan. His friendliness, sense of humor, and willingness to help brightened my days and made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself offers an elegant, relaxing, and comfortable atmosphere. My room was clean, well-maintained, and very pleasant to stay in. The location is also excellent for exploring Beijing. Thank you once again to Zara, Yue Long, and the entire team for making my stay such a memorable and enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing and look forward to staying here again in the future."

"The hotel is located at a very convenient spot, walking distance to subway station, and many restaurant options. The staffs at the front desk were friendly. Although overall it was clean, the carpets showed signs of aging, and house keeping was sloppy. They didn’t vacuum the carpet for the first two days and only did so after I told the front desk. Shower cap and other toiletries were not replenished promptly, the bedding was not done properly. One of the towel had a big black spot on it. I left it it out to be cleaned, but the house keeping fold it and put it back on the shelf!"
