The room was quiet and comfy, we had a great nights sleep and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Location good, great breakfast, room ok, staff took a long time to get the heating working in the room, despite being asked several times, it was not until our second night that the heating started working although they did bring a heater to the room.

Room decor was lovely, quality furnishings in a boutique style. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed. Staff on reception were excellent.
The room was clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a free upgrade for my husbands birthday and 10% off of the bar bill. Whats not to like!
Had a really great stay at counting house. The pub and bar connected to it is outstanding, very lively, and full of all types of people.
The room was relatively spacious and well decorated for a luxury feeling.
Exceptional! Nice large room, large bathroom, comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. So much nicer than a regular hotel! We loved our stay there. Easy to get to all the sites.
Booked at the last minute very reasonable price considering it’s good location, lovely room tastefully decorated and with all the required amenities also a great breakfast.
This hotel and pub/restaurant are amazing! Everyone was kind, everything in the mini fridge in your room is included and so it an amazing breakfast in the restaurant before they open to non-hotel residents. The food was great and you get 10% off your meal any other time you visit the restaurant. I loved the history that is highlighted throughout the space. Highly reccomend!

Great stay, staff great, room good, shower leaked out onto bathroom floor
Lovely room! Nothing but wonderful things to say about the room itself, everything was clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine and robes. The only ding is not their fault at all, but of the 5 nights I stayed, two nights I experienced crazy noise at all hours of the night, recycling trucks, construction, I don't even know but it was LOUD. The pub downstairs can also get pretty loud (the people, that is). Breakfast down there is lovely however. Overall a wonderful stay! Be sure you know that the door to the pub is NOT the same door as to the Inn, I had no idea and was in a panic when I arrived and the pub doors were shut!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The hotel itself has a very small elevator that doesn’t stop at every floor. And tons of stairs. Very small rooms. In the financial area so very busy during work hours and not as many food options.
After staying in Kensington, I decided to stay in the center of London, THE CITY, the Roman original. This hotel is in the heart of it all: close to the Tower, the Monument, the Bank, the Thames. It's above a gorgeous old pub (excellent breakfast included) and the room (Florin) is both spacious and quiet!

Generally a very pleasant stay
Beautiful, historic building. Reception was excellent, breakfast good, room very nice but tired in places, location great for exploring the City of London. The only negative was that housekeeping in the room was a bit hit and miss. On arrival the carpet appeared not to have been vacuumed, the safe was unusable and had to be reset by reception and one of the water glasses was removed and not replaced.
But overall an enjoyable stay.
