Excellent, quiet, spotlessly clean.
Kitty Fisher Suite beautiful.
Loved the honesty bars and Library and Tapestry room.
Friendly, professional staff.
Super stay!
Lovely stay, but the room was very warm, the pillows were much too soft and tended to disappear down the back of the mattress during the night.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The Junior Suite (we were kindly given an upgraded room) was extremely comfortable. We made use of the sitting room when we ordered room service. The bathroom was lovely and warm and I enjoyed using the bath and the shower. Such a special hotel.
Great hotel and check in experience. Beautiful and clean room and comfortable bed. Nice and quiet.

Great stay in a hotel that’s 300 years old. Lots of character and very comfortable. Great pillows and bedding and really nice toiletries. Great room service too. This was our second visit and hope to return next year.
This is a FANTASTIC boutique hotel in a wonderful restored Georgian building
Super comfortable and clean with friendly staff and great service
Shoreditch is nothing like the west end, its vibrant and real - the hotel is a peaceful haven in this busy area
I cannot recommend enough 10 out of 10
Batty Langley is such i charming hotel. I love it's quirky vibe and classic style. Getting breakfast served to your room is so much nicer than a breakfast buffet.
Tim, the manager, was absolutely incredible—truly the icing on an already perfect cake. The hotel itself is just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, which made getting there from Heathrow incredibly convenient.
Stepping inside felt like being transported back in time; I practically walked in feeling like King Henry himself. The atmosphere was elegant, immersive, and full of historical magic. Every detail of the hotel felt thoughtfully preserved, like a living time capsule.
The room was stunning, and I loved that each one had a name instead of a number—a whimsical touch that fit the whole fantasy-like vibe of the place. I even got a good laugh staying in a room named after a famous historical prostitute. That’s the beauty of history: not everyone was royalty, and the stories of all kinds of people make it richer.
The bathroom continued the theme with its standalone tub, a faucet shaped like a bird’s beak, and even a toilet with a hand-shaped flusher. Every corner had character and included a library full of real books.
Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I genuinely cannot wait to book another visit. It was simply lovely.
This is an excellent small hotel. Very quiet and club-like. Our only complaint is that the breakfast was a la carte and very limited, with no warm food other than toasted bagels. Also, the interior design was fresh and well done, but less contemporary than we would prefer.
What a fantastic hotel with lovely friendly, professional, helpful staff. Best hotel I've ever stayed at. This really set the tone for a great evening away for me and my wife. I'd absolutely love to stay here again
