"The stable cottage is roomy with 2 well appointed comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has mostly everything needed although we didn’t cook much during our stay. Since it was very hot it would have been useful to have some ice trays for the freezer. The cottage was quite dusty in places especially the bathrooms. "We stayed in a family room as it was the only room available at the time. It was a decent size and clean with a large ensuite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Limited parking available on first come basis (14 spaces). Decent bar with good prices for a hotel particularly the happy hour (4 till 8pm) . Good breakfast but could do with a selection of croissants and charcuterie."

"The check in was easy, lady graciously let us check in a little earlier. Suite was big, clean and bright. The kitchenette area was a big plus, as was the free parking. A short stroll down the hill to the beach and town, and both were lovely. The hotel was lovely, a little tired in areas though. For instance, brambles overgrowing the paths, the pool which is a great touch, felt dirty and had an odour, im not an expert, but felt it needed filtering and a deep clean. To be fair though the positives far out weigh the negatives and it felt like the owners are doing it up, on a constant cycle, which is good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and return no problem."
