"Well first of all the staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. For me the location was excellent with plenty of places to walk, multiple supermarkets within easy walking distance and several place to order good food. Speaking of food, the Beef and Guinness pie served here was excellent. One thing, the car navigation system in the car I leased (a VW Golf Hybrid 8 SE from Europcar) not only couldn't locate the place, in fact it couldn't find Station street in Bangor at all (this has happened several times) so use Google maps for the last 5 miles of your trip as it knows exactly where this Pub is. I'd stay there again."

"Great place to stay, convenient to travel the island. Bar/restaurant very relaxed areas, food was excellent. Room was clean and tidy, beds reasonably comfy, tea /coffee/bottled water supplied. Very helpful staff, would stay again."

"The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
