"At first I was disappointed at the rather drab decor in our room. But I soon came to realize that the room was very well appointed -- with a large and comfortable king-sized bed; a fridge and microwave oven; generous coffee/tea making facilities; more than adequate toiletries in the bathroom.... Our room was located at the back of the property and away from any traffic noise. Most important of all, our room and the bathroom were immaculately clean."

"The cottage was clean and comfortable. The views of the bay was beautiful. One suggestion was to have a safer place to throw out the garbage, animals got into the shed from the bottom of the door and we had to clean up the mess. Otherwise it was a lovely stay, very scenic bike routes around the island."

"We loved our stay there! Secluded and rustic, exactly what you picture when you talk about staying on a cabin on an island. Nice docks in a protected little area from the wind. Place could use a good cleaning and get rid of the old coffee pots that either don't work or are enough of a mess you can't clean them enough. The owner was very responsive with any questions. I will say you need to make sure you can get a water taxi when you get there. We had our own boat so wasn't an issue but would have been otherwise. The water is beautiful and crystal clear. Fishing was good even right off the docks. The kayaks and paddle boards were great fun. The fire pit was great. It is a great set up. We had a wonderful time."

"Lilly Lakehouse is an excellent cottage getaway. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water. There is lots of room for guests to enjoy the outdoors - on the expansive deck, around the firepit, or right by the water. Be sure to take water shoes, as the beach - like many on Manitoulin - is rocky. The home is well-appointed with a full kitchen, and lots of room to relax indoors. A great spot for a family vacation."
