Such a lovely and homely place to stay with an excellent and friendly host in Jo, and then wonderful and polite locals in the pub. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we were just made to feel welcome by everyone

The check-in time was 3.30pm but I was allowed to have the room from 1pm, which prevented me having to carry my bag around for a couple of hours. Lovely room. I had a great time.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Queen In The West in Lincoln and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Jo, the landlady, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, and she genuinely cared that we had the best stay possible. Her hospitality alone is enough to make us want to come back. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and everything was exactly as it should be. It was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Lincoln. One of the things we loved most was the atmosphere. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home straight away. It's the sort of pub where you can easily settle in for a drink and a chat. The location is ideal too, it's only a short walk into Lincoln city centre, but far enough away that you're not right in the middle of all the noise and crowds. There are also takeaways and a local convenience shop just a couple of minutes away, which was really handy. We've enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked to come back, and that says it all. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Queen In The West to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to stay in Lincoln. Thank you, Jo, we'll see you again soon!

Lovely comfortable rooms, nice and clean and an easy to use hot shower. Great staff. Only down side was arriving on a cold rainy February afternoon and the rooms were very cold as the heating hadn’t been put on before we arrived. We walked back into town and bought a half price hot water bottle each while the rooms warmed up a bit. Other than that all was good.

A really good back street pub, with a choice of local ales (Bateman's among others) decent music, nice beer garden/courtyard for Spring and Summer months and a generally, good vibe. The landlady was extremely friendly and accommodating - no problems checking in a little earlier. Parking permit provided too. Think it was ensuite - large bathroom adjacent to our room. Easy access when driving into Lincoln, but no more than a 10-15 minute (albeit uphill!) walk to the Cathedral, castle and excellent pubs near Steep Hill Heaters provided, though the bathroom especially, on the cold side. Breakfast would have been a bonus. Overall, really happy and would definitely stay again when next in Lincoln.

Very good overnight stay, room was clean & comfortable, had the large bathroom all to myself. The bar had a good range of beers and friendly locals made for good company. About a 10minute walk to the Cathedral & Castle so was very happy with the location. I would definitely stay again when I next visit Lincoln.

Great Hotel

Really great rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Everything was clean and in good working order. The staff were really nice, letting us drop our bags off prior to check in. The area is really quiet so a good night's sleep was had. The hotel is 10 mins walk away from the city centre.

Very good .A traditioal locals type pub Very welcoming and friendly. Good value for price Details did say towels not supplied which may put some people off but they were supplied Would stay again if in the area .
