"We received a warm welcome and the room was clean and as expected. Fantastic location for our stay. It was a pity that two of the three lifts were not working during our 3 night stay, but the staff were most apologetic. We didn't make use of the bar. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss: there was an excellent range offered but on the first two mornings we found the cooked breakfast to be overcooked and of poor quality. It was much, much better on the third morning."

"We had two rooms on different floors, one was in better shape than the other. The rooms were big, but the reading lights by the bed were to far from the -comfortable - bed, so didn’t fit the purpise. There was an easy chair by the window, but no table next to it to put a glass or cup. No rack or hook in the bathroom for the lovely big and fluffy towel. So good, but annoying details that weren’t right. Housekeeping wasn’t really good, either, coffee or tea not replaced, toiletries missing or not replaced, bath tub not cleaned in 4 days"

"The food service area was a bit dark and dingy. The staff there were good and very helpful. I do feel the hotel could do with a proper restaurant and separate bar area. Generally speaking, the hotel was good for a one night stay which we had. We needed staff assistance with the air condition settings. Hotel is very central in the city and handy for most locations."

Park House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Absolute lovely old style hotel. Very clean an the staff was brilliant from start to finish. The food was unbelievablly good, 3 course for the evening meal. Due to work I was unable to make breakfast, however they provided us with a takeaway option (I don't believe this is standard and other hotels didn't entertain this idea) Thankyou to all, will not be staying anywhere else in Blackpool now."
