"The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are dated but have everything you need for the price. Breakfast was very good yoghurt, fruit, seeds etc and a full English. Spa area dated and could do with some updating but great small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice cave. Will stay there again."

"Great stay as a solo traveller. The room was lovely and just the right size, well-equipped and with a beautiful sea view. The food was good with plenty of choice and the evening entertainment was a highlight. I checked in online beforehand but still had to queue for quite a while on arrival, which could have been better organised. Overall though, a brilliant first stay and I’d return."

"Staff we're great and friendly. The hotel needs lots of work doing on it. Well over priced for the accommodation in its present state. Parking was easy to find behind the hotel on a payment metre £12 for 24 hours."

"Well presented and lovely decor. Very well equipped. Great location having a short walk to town centre, bus and train stations and the beach. Only criticism was there was no heating in the kitchen or both toilets and the TV's didn't have an aerial connected so we were unable to get reception for "standard" freeview channels (although that may have been us not knowing how to)."

"Advertisement is misleading, there is no hot tub and we had differing messages concerning the games room. We were told the keys were in the key safe, we were unable to locate and were then told there was no games room. There is also no balcony. Had we known the above we would not have selected this property. Whilst mostly clean, rubbish was behind and down the side of cupboards in the bedrooms as well.The house itself is a nice house, but we felt completely mis-advertised."

"This place is perfect for a chilled out couples getaway. Aptly named The Hygge Out, it really emboidies all that is Hygge; from the clean asthetics and peaceful location to the 'back to basics' concept, albiet luxurious with the stove and hot tub being wood fired! The owners were downright lovely. Communication beforehand was great. They gave clear instructions for how to find the location and of any extras we might be interested in. Upon arrival there were concise instructions for use of the stove, hot tub and big green egg as well as notes about the onsite shop and checkout procedure. The pod itself was cosy and nicely furnished with everything you'd need for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean, including the hottub and patio. Being in the middle of nowhere, or so it felt, really gave us the opportunity to completely unwind and enjoy each others company. We will 100% visit again, thank you for a lovely stay."
