"It’s a nice place but very hot in the apartments if the sun is out and it’s a nice day (which isn’t that often, but when it is be ready for a hot room). The staff communicated very well and were pleasant. The apartments are self serviced so don’t expect any cleaning service etc. We enjoyed it. The location is a bit out of town but a small supermarket close by, a nice bistro across the street, and two gyms to choose from (we chose World class)."

"Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop."

"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "

"The entire staff were amazing! Aleksandra checked us in and was awesome! Everyone we encountered from there was just welcoming and nice. The room is small but clean and cozy and the shower was hot and had great water pressure….not to mention a towel heater!!!! The hotel also booked our taxi from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the cruise port! And, I was able to pay for the taxi through the hotel! I definitely recommend this great hotel."
