"Lovely modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a good size with lots of storage and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. The only downside for us was the distance to the centre of Reykjavík, but not a major problem at all."

"The host cancelled last minute. I sent a message via VRBO app 14 hours before just to touch base with him. He didn’t respond. When I called him to let him know we would be getting in late, he told me the house is not functional. He was apologetic. But left us high and dry. We searched all the hotels in Reykjavík and all were full due to the pride parade happening. I tried calling him back to help settle this with VRBO and he ghosted me. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. But sleeping at the airport left me a bit bitter. "

"It was very clean and comfortable in the suite. Great bathtub! We didn’t do too much near hotel. Stores nearby. Breakfast at hotel was basic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Saw the lights on our last night from the balcony but there were a lot of street lights in the area. Window and door seals to balcony were a bit drafty and loud. No real complaints there. "
