The hotel is excellent and has great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff in a lovely environment. The restaurant is very nice and the kitchen produces an excellent breakfast. The gym facilities are very impressive for a hotel and also good staff working there too. Looking forward to our next visit.

I chose a more budget room, so my view wasnt very nice and overlooked by other rooms (the garden is lovely so maybe consider upgrading to a garden view). However, the room was large, well maintained and I didnt notice any significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom had plenty of surface space for toiletries. The car park can get quite full if an event is on. Food and drinks I thought a little pricey (large glass of wine and a burger £37). Pool was nice and lots of gym equipment.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and tidy. Our room had AC which we definitely appreciated. The overall building though does need a face lift. Breakfast is good, but could do with additional options as we found there was not lots of choice. The pool area is probably the most disappointing and needs major facelift as this is very tired.

Hands down, my favourite hotel that I've stayed at. The staff are the best, the rooms are clean and welcoming, the breakfasts are superb, the bar has a nice cosy and relaxed vibe and it's a good location if you're planning to hike around the Lakes. I've stayed here 7 times in the last 12 months and i keep going back. I never want to go anywhere else.
