Centrally located 10 minutes north of the Lihue airport, next to the Coconut Marketplace. Islander on the Beach is sitting on 6 acres of beautifully manicured gardens with swaying palms trees and cooling trade winds. This ocean front resort features a gorgeous pool and hot tub and is home to the local Sand Bar.

This ground floor studio has 2 full size beds, a fully stocked kitchenette with small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and tea kettle (no cooktop). Perfect for a small family or traveling friends. Wireless Internet, smart TV, cable, beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler for your exploring day trips. Close to shopping, beaches and activities. The location/resort is gorgeous, felt magical our entire stay. The place was clean and well stocked, amenities were great, only thing we noticed missing was a luggage rack but we made do just fine. We hope to be back again, a perfect experience.

Nice box of goodies left for you. I came in at midnight in the pouring rain. Tea, nuts and cookies were a great snack. The pool, hot tub and bar was a nice way to end your evening. Location next to the market place.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was a bit musty. Needs a dehumidifier. Loved the location of room. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach. We will be back.

Great location. The studio was clean, and had all that we needed. The beds were comfortable. The room had rather high humidity level, so we would suggest that the owner adds a dehumidifier for both the room and the bathroom to help with this issue. It would also help to have a little better overhead lighting in the room. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, and we would book this studio again if the price is right for us.

This place was close to the airport which made it nice for a late arrival time. It was clean and felt comfortable. The location was great to catch a sunrise. The entry way was beautiful because of all the trees and flowers. It wasn’t noisy at all.

Great stay with everything we needed including beach chairs/snorkel gear. We loved that it is ground level and the porch was lovely and near but not too close to the pool. Also close to Lava Lava Beach club which was delicious! Only item to note is there was a weird smell that we could not get rid of throughout our stay…

The property was clean and provided a lot of amenities for us to use. We loved the location to view the sunset from the beach each morning and the pool right out the back door to enjoy an evening swim. There were shops just outside the buildings. When I asked the manager a question she was quick to answer. 10/10 would return again!

We have stayed at this location numerous time but first time at this property. The property manager has great communication when you need something. Everything you need for the beach is inside. Definitely a must.
