Cozy and convenient, on a budget. Excellent location in between June Lake and Silver lake, great as a base camp for fishing or leaf peeping. Kitchenette was handy for prepping lunches.
The suite has a beautiful view of the mountains and the trees were golden. I liked the access to the suite from both parking lots which was helpful with transferring our baggage and ice chest. I recommend this facility highly.

Slightly run-down old-style motel in June Lake area, for a decent price. Loved that the room had a refrigerator and kitchenette. The WiFi is fiber and is very fast. Location is very convenient to hiking trails, aspens, and Mono Lake. However, beds were older and the bathroom lacked simple amenities like a hook or towel bar. Good for a reasonably priced one-night stay, but the rooms and property need upgrading and maintenance.
The property was secluded and tucked away which was nice for a quiet and relaxing experience. Although it was secluded and tucked away, it was central to many locations and lakes that were on our itinerary.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff was very helpful and answered texts quickly. The beds were comfortable which is a make or break for us. Room did not have an a/c lucky for us it was cool at night and was not needed. The room was big and kept clean.

Centrally located, large room with oversized hotel refrigerator, microwave, hot plate. However, bathroom could use an upgrade. On another hand the motel does have a very generous ice making machine.
I enjoyed my stay at Whispering Pines. The room was exactly what we needed. Very comfortable and close to both June and Silver Lakes.
I had a question and they were very quick to answer! We will be staying here again!
The property had a gorgeous view of the the rocky mountains. The kitchen, bathroom and bed were large. The owner helped fixed what was needed. Very happy customer!
Pet friendly property close to June and Silver lake. I booked a suite and it had ample space, basically the size of a cabin on the upper floor. Complete with smart tv, plenty of books, dvd , amenities. Comfortable couches, sofas and beds. My dog was very comfortable here. The only thing to note is the close proximity of the road, so you can hear cars come and go, and if the other occupants are speaking outside. Otherwise than that, I enjoyed this location.
It was actually very nice! We needed early check-in and the host graciously accommodated. The room was cute, everything felt very fresh and clean. I didn’t realize e would have a kitchenette, then was also surprised by a kitchen table and chairs…. We enjoyed our room and rested well! Thank you to Whispering Pines! Great job.
Room appeared to be recently renovated. It was clean, comfortable, spacious & adequately supplied w/cooking/eating utensils, dishware & towels/washclothes. Environment was quiet/peaceful. Parking area near room was limited & rough due to what appears to be ongoing construction.
This place is amazing, the property is nicely located, and from the front door of our room we could see beautiful snow capped mountains and even a waterfall, just stunning.
Great location near all the major lakes in the area. Walking distance to Silver Lake. The front desk was very helpful. The cleaning team was very nice providing clean towels daily.
