"Not worth the $200 a night. Maybe $60 a night tops. The door had no secondary lock, the room felt damp and smelled like chemicals, the towels were tiny and cheap and the sheets were stained. I stayed here because I needed something last minute but I'll never stay here again, I'd rather camp in a tent."
"We would not recommend staying at the Royal Victorian Motel. It's a given that you're going to pay premium prices for a place so close to Olympic National Park. However, for $230 per night, we expect a clean room and for things to work. On the first night, we discovered that the shower wasn't working and it was too late to call someone to come and fix it. The next day, we informed the front desk and he said that the spout jams easily. He came up and "fixed" it by jamming the spout into the...
"Close to ferry for early trip to Van cover island but old and rundown . No real amenities except coffee in room and usual fridge and microwave. Run down part of town. The room had been updated some.. not worth the price."
"The WiFi doesn’t work and only 1 of us (of 4) could shower before the hot water ran out…both are apparently known issues. Walls are thin and the road noise is loud. Of the 7 places we are staying for this trip, this was the most expensive so we expected a little more. That said, it was clean, close to shops and restaurants and easy to get into the NP. With a tankless water heater and a robust internet plan, we would have rated it higher."
