"The hotel was very nice and the lady that checked us in was so nice and friendly. It’s been a while since I’ve been greeted so kindly by hotel staff. My only complaint is there are no electric vehicle chargers. A few low cost level 2 (overnight) chargers would pay for themselves in no time in added bookings. I always see them used way more frequently than more expensive amenities such as fitness centers for example. It’s interesting to me that SD tourism advertises so much in states with large EV adoption rates, yet they take no steps to accommodate 1/3 of the traveling population of those states. Overall my stay far exceeded my expectations."

"We will definitely stay here again. It was a last minute decision to stop for the night and I selected this because of reviews and price. Definitely a great value. They were able to give me a room on the ground floor, close to the front. We didn't hear anything and we were asleep within minutes. Comfortable bed, handicap parking right out front. Room had fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was continental with cereal (5 kinds), bagels, toast, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, coffee/tea. Friendly staff. Pool area looked nice - much too cold to be out there. We will definitely stay there next time we are in the area."

"A very nice Hotel in Downtown Rapid City. The only complaint is no free parking. It cost an extra $15.00 plus tax to park. The included breakfast was really good"

"No parking so you either need to Valet or there is a parking garage a couple of blocks away."

"Room was very outdated and pretty dirty in some areas. Including something on the bathroom wall that looked like feces. We didn’t notice it until we were leaving otherwise we would have said something. I remember staying here about 15 years ago and it was “fancy”; not so much now. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Luckily we were only here for a fast sleep on the way through. We needed a cheap room and we got what we paid for. "

"My family of four found My Blue Haven cozy. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped and the place is centrally located in the city. Carmen made sure we were taken care of during our week stay and we will return in the future!"
