"Room was large and spacious, clean and of good quality. Parking was easy for a Sunday night stay with registration given at check in. Breakfast was at the restaurant next door which is part of Marstons. Had dinner and breakfast here. Food was okay, slightly disappointing compared to previous experiences of Marstons restaurants. It was the finishing touches on the food that provided the negative review"

"This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match...

"2nd time I've stayed here and the value for money is second to none. Whilst the rooms are basic, they still have a TV, kettle with tea and coffee and a fan heater should it get too cold. The most important aspect and what drew me back again is that everything is clean. A fresh towel and unopened soap provided, the bedding is crisp and spotless. At the end of the day it's a place to sleep, and that the owner obviously cares for cleanliness is obvious. Very friendly and helpful host. Bargain! "

"I can not praise this place high enough. The staff were really lovely. I’d easily say the best off all the holiday inns that I’ve stayed around the country. They are very grounded, genuine, helpful and just very lovely. From being given a coin for the spa locker before I even asked, to storing my lunch for work next day in their fridge to offering me free coffee in the morning as I was leaving, they went above and beyond. Pls don’t change!"

"Great pub with nice rooms very clean and tidy the staff are excellent and the breakfast is good. We went to Jimmy's farm and this was the perfect location for stop over as only 5 mins away We stayed for 2 nights and the pub restaurant did excellent food people.wwerw queuing for a table So great location and great food and beer and very clean. Yes we would stay again. "

"A relatively new hotel near the centre of Ipswich. Nothing special and ok for a travelodge. The rooms are fairly small and there is not much room to spread out with your luggage. The biggest negative is the lack of free WiFi in the rooms. This is not acceptable in a modern hotel."
