"Hotel is beautiful (both in architectral and interior design), location is perfect, next to the Panmen scene area with free access to the attraction via room key, bed is comfortable, breakfast buffet has plenty of selections (more local favorites than Western style food). Staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the room cleaning lady who retrieved and returned my backup cell phone that I left in the room after check out (just before we boarded the DiDi/taxi ride to the train station for our next vacation city). Overall, we were very happy staying in this hotel and had a great time in Suzhou."

"Best feature of this property are the grounds outside the building itself. Take a tour around the backyard gardens. Rooms themselves are dated with small washrooms. You’re in the middle of a tourist zone so getting to and from the hotel requires your patience as long lines of caps string ahead of you in a slow crawl. Don’t get caught out ordering coffee from the breakfast restaurant in the morning. We were charged $10 for each coffee."

"The room and the view of the canal was brilliant. The staff was most helpful. I messaged while in airport to make changes to the booking. The hotel acted without fuss. Housekeeping was efficient to get the room cleaned around our schedule. I cannot fault this hotel at all."
