"Walking distance to UT, Ruth’s Chris, Calhoun’s, Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Boat was very clean, quiet location and nice views of the river. Wasn’t prepared to not being able to flush tp, had to throw away in trash can. Also not prepared for no warm water. Should be noted in the online description for guests to prepare for. Overall, we made it work and had an enjoyable experience."

"I like that there was a store to buy gifts in lobby. I like that there was a Starbucks in lobby and a restaurant on first floor. What I didn’t like was the Elevator broke down when I was in it with some other people and I got scared but we all were able to get out and told a worker what happened and he was able to bring us to our appropriate floors on his elevator. That night the elevator got fixed and it was fine the next day. All and all I loved the hotel and would stay there again."

"Breakfast was great lots of choices. Walking distance to UTK. Parking was extra on site. Felt very safe. Walked downtown very convenient. However I found a pubic hair on the wall of shower! Also found hair ties in the floor. The heating/cooling unit on wall had a smell when turned on and it was filthy inside. We didn’t use it for this reason. We were exhausted from traveling all day so I let it slide. Would definitely ask for a different room next time."

"Breakfast was fantastic. Location was ideal, right near restaurants,bars and theater. Market square right there. Only complaint is valet parking. 39 bucks overnight while the parking garage is 6 dollars? Cmon, do better. "

"I had a great stay at Hyatt Place Knoxville Downtown. The location is a major highlight—within close proximity to excellent restaurants and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus, making it very convenient whether you're visiting for business, a game, or just exploring the area. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and everything ran smoothly overall. The only minor drawbacks were that breakfast closes at 9:00 AM during the week, which felt a bit early, and I had some difficulty getting the room temperature exactly where I wanted it. Aside from those small issues, it was a very positive experience, and I’d definitely stay here again."

"Kim was incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The place was immaculate and offer everything we needed close to downtown. I’d definitely recommend a stay on this houseboat on the TN river!"

"Nice hotel in a great spot for all things downtown. Would stay there again. Felt very safe. Disappointed the bistro and starbucks/bar were unavailable 10:30-5:30pm because the food was fantastic and the hotel coffee bar that is included with breakfast was promptly stripped once breakfast was over... or earlier. Room was very clean, and I liked the setup with a separate bedroom because so much light pours through the gap under the door to the hall with the lights on all night in the hall. Shower soaked the bathroom floor if I didn't completely block it with my body, so be careful getting out. There was also a dip in the mattress on my side, but I think the other side was ok. We checked in after midnight, and the concierge staff were kind and helpful at all hours. The lady cleaning up breakfast has no concept of hospitality as she was clearly bothered we didn't have our breakfast plated earlier. She had pulled the coffee creamer and was breaking down breakfast before the end time, and then proceeded to tell us it was after the end time..several times. After she cleaned up the food area, she warned us she was ready to clean the table area where we were sitting and another man was doing work on his computer. We did come at the end of breakfast, but were weren't late. That was disappointing. Hotel garage was convenient. "
