This was a nice property very close to the beach. The owner was super nice and involved. He showed us around and showed us where to eat in the area. The only downside was the shower which had salty water so when you showered it was like showering with ocean water.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the owner, he would always go the extra mile to make sure all guests are happy. He recommended the the subset trip, it was just so nice that i went the bext day again. Highly recommended, a must to do. Breakfast was every day amazing.

I stayed at Stonefish inn for around 2 weeks and I could not have been happier! If you want to experience the real village life while still only having to walk 2 minutes to the beautiful beach, Stonefish inn is probably the perfect fit! The owner is very kind, helpful and cares for all guests. The breakfast was a combination of fresh fruit and local goods and eating dinner there is possible too- Would recommend it regarding taste and the price! I also was very suprised to have been given the possibility to use a beach lodge and swimming pool where you have a quiet, calm area to relax by the beach. Definetly going back there again:)

Zwei Wochen Jambiani 🇹🇿 Ich suchte nach einem recht anstrengenden Jahr Erholung , Ruhe, gutes Essen …. Und einen schönen Strand auf Zanzibar. Ich habe alles gefunden - im Stonefish Inn in Jambiani. Dieses kleine Guesthouse ist süß. Sehr persönlich und familiär. Der Inhaber immer um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Wer Luxus sucht , ist hier aber definitiv falsch. Mich erwartete eins von drei hübschen Zimmern. Ein bequemes Bett mit Mosquito- Netz. Ventilator über dem Bett . Das Bad landestypisch eingerichtet und gross. Das Frühstück immer einen Teller frische Früchte und wer will Pancakes 🥞 Diese nach Wahl süss oder herzhaft. Aber immer fein 😋 Dazu afrikanischen Kaffee oder schwarzen Tee ☕️ Die Küche ist unglaublich gut. Hatte je nach Hunger mal eine frische Tomatensuppe oder gegrillten Fisch 🐟 Soooo lecker 😋 Die Karte ist klein und fein . Die Preise höchst angenehm. Ich habe morgens mit Said mein Dinner besprochen und es war dann jeweils um 18:00 Uhr bereit. 🌴 Der Strand , drei Minuten zu Fuss entfernt , ist ein Traum. Viele Kilometer weißer Sand … Türkises Meer 🌊 Dieses aber mit einer starken Tide . Dennoch reicht es immer zum Baden . Bei Vollmond hat man dann auch richtig High Tide mit traumhaften Wellen. Im Dorf Jambiani findet man kleine Geschäfte mit Lebensmitteln und Dingen für den täglichen Gebrauch. Aber auch handgemachte Geschenke. Es lohnt sich mal schauen zu gehen 🎁 Meine gut zwei Wochen hier waren absolut entschleunigend.
