Ochiairo exceeded our expectations! The facility, room, and food were all incredible. We definitely got a true Japanese experience and felt like we had traveled back in time. What a decadent experience in low-key, authentic Japanese style. Not a detail was spared in the gorgeous historic building and lush forest grounds. The several course meals were outstanding, served in our private dining room and the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. The multiple onsens on property were beautiful and healing, you can even reserve one for an hour of private use. To get there, board a shinkansen and get off at the train station that is about 25 minutes away from the hotel and hotel staff will meet you with a private car to pick you up. It is top notch luxury, yet you are still immersed in the culture, and it doesn't feel pretentious. Out of our 2 week Japan trip with many destinations, this was the absolute highlight....we can't wait to come back next year.

提早抵達落合樓就非常細心地幫我們準備接駁，甚至老闆還親自接送，萬分感恩。 在門上掛上名字，還貼心地為家族準備了庭院相通的房間；餐點搭配季節，色香味俱全，身心都溫暖而療癒起來；三種不同的溫泉都別具風情，讓人想在不同季節來訪，好好品味萬千丰姿。 在房間備好的冷水熱水，還有大到能讓小孩爬來爬去的自在，一個房間也有各自隔間讓大家都能保有獨立空間；旅館內每個地方都富有巧思，無論是裝潢或擺設都足見用心。 年代久遠卻維護得不見落魄，大氣卻又絲絲入扣的服務，更讓人驚喜於價錢的合理甚至在備受照顧的一晚後更覺物超所值！ 衷心感謝，希望下一次能很快來到！

まず出迎えは普通でした。 夕ご飯の時給仕して下さった女性があまり感じが良く無く、一人旅なので更に何だか一挙につまらなく感じられました。お食事は美味しかったのに残念です。 前日誕生日だったのに……宿帳に記入しても誰も気が付かないし、別に何かして頂きたい訳ではありませんが、私が接客業を長くしていた為かお客様に対して無関心さがどうしても気になりました。 お風呂は朝入りに行くと前日の夜私が洗い場のゴミ箱に捨てたシャンプー、コンディショナーの袋がそのままでした。 老舗の宿で数日前、動画でも観て、なる程そんな昔の職人技が見られる宿なのかと期待して来たのに。況してやおもてなしで有名な宿と伺っておりましたの残念です。 女将は声をかけて下さったりしましたが…… 伊豆は退職してから年に二三度来ますがあまり宜しくなかったです。 美味しい料理と立派な繊細な昔の技法が施された建造物なのにこれではリピーターにはなれないと感じました。

文化に溢れる温泉旅館

最高でした。サービスも食事も部屋も温泉もすべて完璧でした。温泉は適温でとくに天狗の湯がお勧めです。チェックアウト時に文化財の案内もあり、本当に貴重な建物に宿泊したと改めて思いました。
