"Hard to get around without your own vehicle;hilly and not walkable. Also, I had a course dinner at Fuji restaurant which was poor at best and there was no other option. The lodging and the service by the staff was great though."

Maybe I didn’t get enough time, but I wasn’t blown away. There were few onsens and they all required a significant amount of transport to reach. The food options weren’t great but the nature was pretty, just not prettier than any other part of Japan.
