Ella Rocrita, All-Inclusive Resort

"The resort is lovely although a little remote, we felt for a weeks trip we really had to hire a car. Some things promoted do not exist, such as hiking trails around the resort or biking- there are no bikes available. None of the pools are heated, so in October they are cold and very few people ventured in. The ninja course was excellent, but very little for teenagers to do apart from this. We booked the padel court, but that is one booking a day and has to be done from reception. Fitness classes were good, but difficult to get bookings for - they filled up quickly. The staff were mainly from the Philippines, worked really hard and were great with the children. The food is good and all booked via the app, it is just a shame in a 7 night stay you only get to go to 3 of the 4 à la carte restaurants. The bar staff and drinks were really good, with great choices of cocktails and wines. The room was lovely, and kept beautifully clean. Overall a good hotel at the price paid, so happy."

"This hotel is wonderful. The food is really tastey, they have lots of variety to cater for everyone. The hotel is lovely and the staff are all really nice. It’s in a perfect location, you can walk to the beach or to some local shops or to the harbour. We didn’t need to leave the area, everything we needed was there! I gave a 4 for cleaning on the basis that some of the cleaners just pushed the dirt around, I wasn’t really sure what they were doing and we had a garden room and you could smell the pipes on some days. Other than that it was lovely."

"It is a good property and nice to be off the main drag. The rooms and furnishings are very nice, as is the breakfast and pool areas. The staff are friendly and generally very responsive. However there are some issues, mostly linked to the vistas of the rooms and the fitness centre having no cardio machines. The property is over 100m from the beach and the sea views are over a car park and or scrub land."

"We have just returned from a wonderful week here, a really amazing hotel, food and service is outstanding as are the facilities, it’s a really well run hotel with lots of experienced staff making a great team. The room was great, had a retreat garden room with hot tub and fire pit, would recommend it. The housekeeping was fantastic. Will recommend and hope to return sometime soon"

"Great Hotel Resort. Excellent Breakfast, nice rooms and pools, professional and very helpfull staff, well located with almost "private" Sea Beach. Incredible Sea view. If possible I will keep visiting them almost every year."
